As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service on the internet, DML News App offers the following information published last week, on November 6, by DAILYCALLER.COM:

President Donald Trump will lead New York City’s 100th annual Veterans Day Parade next week, becoming the first sitting president to accept the honor, the event’s organizers announced Wednesday.

But while Trump will be making history Monday as he attends the parade, an offer the United Veterans War Council has made to every president since 1985, his involvement as a citizen with the annual Veterans Day event dates back to 1995 when he saved the event from dire financial straits.

The article goes on to state the following:

Less than three months before the 1995 Veterans Day parade, in mid-August, organizers had just $1.21 in the event’s bank account after receiving nothing from the 200 corporations, including military contractors, they had reached out to for financial support, The New York Times reported in 1995.

The Daily Caller reported, “It was at that point then-businessman Trump stepped in and saved the event by contributing between $325,000 and $375,000, parade organizer Vincent McGowan told CNN in 2016.”

After Trump’s donation, a windfall of donations poured in from other donors, allowing the parade to go on.

The report states that Trump also made a $1 million contribution in 1985 to help fund the construction of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza in New York City.

Monday, President Trump became the first sitting president to attend New York’s Veterans Day Parade.

Once again showing what a great man, patriot and President, President Trump is. The man for the job at the right time in history. Books and fanfare will be offered up about the man in the future showing his good work and singing his praises. Then the idiots of today will have forgotten their dead’s. They will be admitting his great accomplishments just as they have done with President Reagan.
