CNN is standing by anchor Chris Cuomo after a profanity-laced video of him threatening a heckler went viral Monday.

The “Cuomo Prime Time” host, 49, was captured during a heated exchange with an unidentified man who called him “Fredo,” which Cuomo called a racist slur toward Italians, comparing it to the N-word.

The article goes on to state the following:

“Punk (expletive) from the right call me ‘Fredo.’ My name is Chris Cuomo. I’m an anchor on CNN,” the television host said during the NSFW video that was shared on Twitter.

The journalist explained that the “disparaging” term is from the 1972 film “The Godfather,” referring to Fredo Corleone, who Cuomo said is “a weak brother.”

Cuomo exploded on the journalist in a profanity-filled rant, and the video has gone viral.

Donald Trump Jr. called out CNN Monday night over their anchor’s behavior, tweeting, “I assume @cnn not available for comment. Imagine their coverage of this if they were a real news organization?”

CNN Vice President of Communications Matt Dornic tweeted in response, “Chris Cuomo defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur in an orchestrated setup. We completely support him.”

In another tweet, Trump Jr. advised Cuomo that “Fredo” is NOT comparable to the N-word. He tweeted, “Hey @ChrisCuomo, take it from me, “Fredo” isn’t the N word for Italians, it just means you’re the dumb brother.”

Dornic hit back at Trump Jr. by tagging his own brother, Eric, Trump, tweeting, “Speaking of dumb brothers…. cc: @EricTrump.”

Trump Jr. then blasted out an old video from January, when CNN’s Ana Navarro called HIM “Fredo” on Cuomo’s show and, and Cuomo didn’t say anything – even though he now claims the term is comparable to the N-word, now that it has been directed at himself.

Trump Jr. tweeted, along with the video, “Does CNN’s head of PR still think “Fredo” is an ethnic slur after watching this? Because if it’s the N word for Italians like @ChrisCuomo says, I don’t understand why Chris seems so at ease with someone saying it here. An excuse just as fake as his news. #FredoCuomo.”

Tuesday morning, Trump Jr. noted that YouTube has removed the video from their platform. However, it is still going viral on Twitter.  “Unbelievable: @Youtube has taken down the viral video showing @chriscuomo threatening to assault a heckler and then grotesquely comparing “Fredo” to the N word. Youtube/Google literally covering up his racism and violent threats. You can’t make this stuff up,” he wrote.

Show your support for President Trump!

Did I understand that his young daughter was with Cuomo, if so is this the way he teaches to speak.
“Cuomo: “I’ll fuckin ruin your shit. I’ll fucking throw you down these stairs”

Way to go Trump Jr. Your video of CNN where Cuomo is called ‘Fredo’ by his guest is Halarious. CNN has a bunch of degenerates running it. I was appalled when Hannity at Fox defended him because Cuomo’s retaliatory attack back was far worse then the other guy.

I’m Italian. Racial slur my ass. Clearly references a weak, ignorant, incompetent, traitor to his family.
