It was Friday night in a protective housing unit of the federal jail in Lower Manhattan, and Jeffrey Epstein, the financier accused of trafficking girls for sex, was alone in a cell, only 11 days after he had been taken off a suicide watch.

Just that morning, thousands of documents from a civil suit had been released, providing lurid accounts accusing Mr. Epstein of sexually abusing scores of girls.

The article goes on to state the following:

Mr. Epstein was supposed to have been checked by the two guards in the protective housing unit every 30 minutes, but that procedure was not followed that night, a law-enforcement official with knowledge of his detention said.

In addition, because Mr. Epstein may have tried to commit suicide three weeks earlier, he was supposed to have had another inmate in his cell, two officials said. But the jail had recently transferred his cellmate and allowed Mr. Epstein to be housed alone, a decision that also violated the jail’s procedures, the two officials said.

At 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, guards doing morning rounds found him dead in his cell. Mr. Epstein, 66, had apparently hanged himself.

The disclosures about these seeming failures in Mr. Epstein’s detention at the Metropolitan Correctional Center deepened questions about his death and are very likely to be the focus of inquiries by the Justice Department and the F.B.I.

Officials cautioned that their initial findings about his detention were preliminary and could change.

The federal Bureau of Prisons has already come under intense criticism for not keeping Mr. Epstein under a suicide watch after he had been found in his cell on July 23 with injuries that suggested he had tried to kill himself.

Sounds like someone paid someone off….. Clintons……

  2. Jo August 11th, 2019 at 5:25 pm

Not a bad thing he is gone but it is bad that it probably lets a lot of high up people off scott free.

  3. Linda Ahrens August 11th, 2019 at 5:33 pm

Wonder where all his assets will go? He’s worth billions. But because some of our slimball politicians, such as Clinton are involved, we probably won’t hear much more about Epstein unless it is rumor or someone theory.

Two procedures not followed. Unlikely. Check offshore bank @ccounts.

  5. Mark August 11th, 2019 at 5:40 pm

This sounds like a textbook hit. Guards don’t check on him, cellmate removed, found him next day “apparently” committed suicide. Investigation should be interesting. Watch the money…

maybe he isn’t dead just removed on a gurney

He could payoff key players a million each to fake death and disapear. Wouldn’t miss it. Back to business as usual. Maybe a little facial reconstruct to broaden his new playing field but all in all…barely a blip on the radar for him or his ilk.

They do not tell true….did you heard about Las Vegas shooters…. all information disappeared…..we do not know anything more…. investigation was done…. that’s all….
With Epstein case we won’t know anything more …. they will say investigation in process…. all big fish
were in Epstein property doing the same things like Epstein…Manhattan prison took big money for Epstein…. they know how too lie… Epstein maybe died…. or he is a life…….we did not see him in prison no witnesses…

Epstein loved himself too much to do it himself. There was big time payoff to more than one person to accomplish this hanging. Who has that kind of money and desperately needed him dead? Who else takes out people that get in their way? Mr. & Mrs. Clinton!

I think you got that one right! He had too much dirt on Billie Boy. Remember Bill Clinton held a party on Epstein’s private “pedophile” island. I wonder how many underage prostitutes were present? Maybe one of them will come forward with their “tell-all” story. However, if that would ever happen, they wouldn’t live very long either.

A hit job isn’t likely to be done by hanging the person; more likely he would be poisoned. But nothing in this story makes sense, I smell a Rat! As others said, no witnesses, ppl in jail could easily be bought to go along with whatever they were trying to pull off which IMHO was to remove him, make it look like a suicide, get him out of country to somewhere that he can’t be extradited so he will never testify. We’ll all just think he’s dead & while many facts of the underage sex crimes will be revealed, & some girls may get justice (money from his estate) whatever else is going on behind the scenes will remain hidden. He was reportedly also a double agent. It’s gotta be a jail break. FBI Investigation- pffff.
