President Donald Trump has enjoyed a belated Thanksgiving dinner at Mar-a-Lago with The First Lady and his sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, after spending the actual holiday serving up turkey to troops in Afghanistan.

Donald Jr. took to Instagram to share a snap of the festivities which took place on Friday night, just hours after the Commander-in-chief returned home to Florida following his whirlwind visit to the Middle East.

In his Instagram post, Trump Jr. also wrote, “It was great to see him for a belated family dinner, because while we all missed him at Thanksgiving, he was doing something more important… having dinner with our incredible troops in Afghanistan. Always thankful for family and time spent together.”

Trump Jr. also shared a photo of himself with his children at Mar-A-Lago for the Thanksgiving holidays.
