Chris Cuomo’s explosive recorded reaction to being called “Fredo” by a photograph seeker had the CNN anchor trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons.

A video posted on the YouTube channel “THAT’S THE POINT with Brandon” showed Cuomo getting increasingly upset and even threatening violence during a verbal altercation with a man who called him “Fredo.”

The article goes on to state the following:

However, while plenty of F-bombs were being tossed about by the angry CNN anchor, the phrase that seemed to get the most attention on Twitter was his equating of labeling an Italian “Fredo” to calling an African-American person the “n-word.”

The explosive incident has set Twitter ablaze. Below is a sampling:

“The View” host Meghan McCain noted the irony – it would be different if a woman had reacted the way Cuomo did. She tweeted, “However you feel about Chris Cuomo’s behavior today, there’s not one woman in ALL of media who could be filmed in public on an obscenity filled tirade and be supported by their network and public the way he is right now. Men get to be tough and swear, women are “unhinged”…”

Former NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch reminded everyone of the time Donald Trump Jr. was called “Fredo” on Cuomo’s CNN show… and Cuomo said nothing about it.

Another Twitter user mentioned several times the term has been used on CNN:

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity defended Cuomo:

President Trump broke with Hannity, blasting Cuomo’s behavior:

Trump Jr. noted that YouTube has now removed the video from their platform:

Show your support for President Trump!

Fredo means weak one and that is what this angry host of CNN is all about! However, name calling should not be acceptable and before he receives an apology our POTUS should get one First!
