Hold up. Alec Baldwin isn’t so done playing Donald Trump after all.

Last week, the Emmy winning actor swore off playing the president ever again on “Saturday Night Live.”

The article goes on to state the following:

“I’m so done with that,” he told USA Today. “I can’t imagine I would do it again. I just can’t. They should find somebody who wants to do it.”

But after former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee called Baldwin’s decision “good news for viewers” and CNN posted an article with the headline “Alec Baldwin’s ‘SNL’ departure is a win for Trump,” the actor seemed to have a change of heart.

The referenced CNN article declared, “Two recent developments indicate that President Donald Trump might have won key battles in his long-fought war against comedy. The most recent example involves one of Trump’s frequent targets, Alec Baldwin, who announced this week he’s planning to hang up his orange wig and no longer play Trump on ‘Saturday Night Live.’

“Now, just because Baldwin won’t play Trump anymore does not mean that ‘SNL’ will stop mocking the President. But has Trump succeeded in diminishing the visibility of the show by possibly driving out an award-winning actor who will be replaced by someone less known — given that ‘SNL’ is typically a platform for up-and-coming talent?
In response to the article, Baldwin tweeted. “‘Wait! Wait!,’ If pissing off Trump is the point, then I’ll keep doing it! I’ll keep doing it!!”
Baldwin also responded to Huckabee, tweeting, “Who knows what the future holds? I tell what it should hold. That you, who have sucked a govt paycheck out of the economy while you were a dreadful Lt gov and then gov and that daughter of yours, a mouthpiece for fascism, that you go away. Just…go away.
“And your show is dreadful. You have no charm, insight or intellect.”
Baldwin addeda dig at Trump as well, posting, “I honestly can see where people don’t find the SNL Trump schtick funny. That’s about taste. But to say it disrespects the presidency is beyond me. No one disrespects the presidency more than Trump himself.”
In a seperate article, CNN spectlated that if Baldwin stops doing  his Trump parody, “‘SNL’ is still going to need someone to play Trump. After all, 2020 is just around the corner and the show’s presidential debate sketches are pretty iconic.

So, who will be next in line to don the golden locks and American flag pin?”
They suggested Melissa McCarthy, Dana Carvey, Anthony Atamanuik, James Corden, Kate McKinnon, and Darrell Hammond.

Show your support for President Trump!
