In an interview that aired Monday night (see video below), President Donald J. Trump spoke to Fox’s Tucker Carlson about various topics, ending with a discussion about “filth” in some U.S. cities.

Carlson told Trump that Japanese cities such as Osaka and Tokyo are clean.

“There’s no graffiti,” Carlson said. “No one going to bathroom on the street. You don’t see junkies. Very different from our city.. some of our cities, but New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles – they’ve got a major problem with  filth. Why is that?”

“It’s a phenomena that started two years ago,” Trump answered .”It’s disgraceful.”

“I’m looking at it very seriously” Trump continued. “We’re doing some other things that you probably noticed like some of the very important things that we’re doing now. But we’re looking at it very seriously because you can’t do that You can’t have what’s happening.”

He described sickness and disease that accompany living on the streets, saying it’s like “living in hell” for everyone.

“Although some of them have mental problems where they don’t even know they’re living that way,” Trump continued.

“We cannot ruin our cities. And you have people that work in those cities. They work in office buildings and to get into the building, they have to walk through a scene that nobody would have believed possible three years ago. And this is the liberal establishment.”

Trump continued, “San Francisco, I own property in San Francisco, so I don’t care except it was so beautiful. And now areas that you used to think as being, you know, really something very special, you take a look at what’s going on with San Francisco, it’s terrible.

“So we’re looking at it very seriously. We may intercede. We may do something to get that whole thing cleaned up. It’s inappropriate.”

Trump said the dirty cities are “usually sanctuary cities run by very liberal people and the states are run by very liberal people.”

DML News founder and documentary filmmaker Dennis Michael Lynch tweeted a response:

I’ll vote for u & BEG others to do [the] same, mainly because idea of Biden, Bernie or Beto white house gets me sick. That said, [I] cant ignore [your] insanely empty & inaccurate answers to questions about homeless. Tucker’s lack of pushback was even worse. Proves ratings mean everything [Fox News].

A newly-released film by Lynch tackles the homeless crisis in America head-on. The film, titled, “United States of Tents,” takes you on a journey to several homeless camps across the country, and includes interviews with leaders in many communities who are stepping up to address this devastating crisis.

MORE REVIEWS:

Gregory: Extremely well done, the entire country should see it!

Donna: Wonderful documentary about the homeless situation and what can be done to relieve it. Wonderful to see the successes some communities have implemented to remedy the situation.

Pamela: I agree that everyone in our country should see the film. I watched it last week and can say it was very well done. It tugged on my heartstrings and it showed the neglect of our fellow Americans. There were communities trying to give them a hand up not a handout.

Mary: US of Tents is outstanding! By showcasing many different areas, of the country, Dennis explained how this is far more reaching than people believe.

Sometimes I like DML and sometimes I think he is overcome with his ego. What was Tucker and President Trump supposed to say in a relatively short interview covering all kinds of topics. At least the homeless topic was brought up and recognized!

Team DML member, I am a loyal supporter of DML. I agree that Dennis is a very knowledgeable man, however, there comes a time when you have to have patience.
President Trump is a very astute man. He knows what the current state of homelessness is, and what the need is to eliminate it. But, he cannot just wave a magic wand at every single crises to make it vanish.
He needs the cooperation from from the local state, towns and cities as well. He gets nothing but grief from those officials at mere mention of it. The president has a plan and eventually it will be addressed. Patience is a virtue.
The people need to become more proactive in the efforts as well. For instance San Fran residents should get that ball rolling.
DML if you were the president you would be facing the same resistances that President Trump is facing too. He once made the statement, “Boy it’s forever to get things done in DC, I am used to picking up the phone and getting things accomplished and solved much quicker”.
Just because one is the President it doesn’t mean instant gratification all the time. That would be a Dictatorship not a President even if it’s for the good.
All in good time folks. Look at what he has accomplished!
    God Bless!

I read on DML news but that’s it. I stopped watching all of DML lives, his Ego and know it all attitude makes me angry so I just stay clear of it and him. President Trump doesn’t have a magic wand he can wave and make homelessness and illegals go away. It’s easy to say what he should say & do but would be a different story if you were President
