At least one person was arrested in eastern Germany Wednesday after at least two people were shot and killed near a synagogue, police said.

Several shots were fired in the city of Halle, located near the city of Leipzig, and the suspects fled the scene. Investigators said one suspect was arrested but warned to “still stay alert.”

Multiple reports also stated that a few minutes after the shooting, a grenade was thrown into a Jewish cemetery in the same city. One person who claimed to be a witness said, “I saw a girl being shot, she lives around the corner. The killer looked like some kind of policeman in full gear with helmet, protective gear, machine gun. He threw hand grenades into the cemetery.”

Translation of the police department’s tweet below: According to initial findings, two people were in #Halle killed. There were several shots. The alleged perpetrators are fleeing with a vehicle. We are pushing hard and asking the people to stay in their apartments. #hal0910

Translation: Our forces have arrested one person. Still stay alert. We are strong in and around #Halle present and stabilize the situation until all information has been saved. #hal0910

Channel 13 News correspondent Barak Ravid tweeted, “Two people killed in a shooting outside a Synagogue in the city of Halle in Germany. Perpetrators fled the scene. A few minutes later a grenade was thrown near a Jewish cemetery in the same city.”

    And what about the news of a Truck being stolen and driven into people? Where is that? That was in Limburg, Germany. If it has anything to do with a so called Migrant/Refugee you will not hear much about it. How interesting how things work.
