Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) was hospitalized Wednesday after a fall at his Washington, D.C., apartment, his office said in a statement Wednesday night.

The statement confirmed that the senior Georgia senator, 74, had fractured four ribs but was “resting and doing well.”

The article goes on to state the following:

“Senator Isakson was admitted to George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night after falling in his apartment and suffering four fractured ribs,” Isakson spokesperson Amanda Maddox said Wednesday.

“He is in pain, but resting and doing well. Senator Isakson looks forward to fully recovering and getting back to work for Georgians,” she added.

      He is in the senate, not the house!

    He is my senator from Georgia. He is old and in ill health. He needs to retire. He many times goes against our president. He has accomplished a lot for veterans but not much else.! Wish him well but he needs to go!
